I spent the summer of '97 working at an amusement park, stationed next door to the stage where the park's cover band played. I got to hear them practice or perform sub par covers of "Walkin' On The Sun", "Semi Charmed Life", and "How Bizarre" at least ten times each everyday. It was hell. That was 1997 to me.
