Just finished reading The Score and it was amazing. The book is, too, so it's not like he had to do a whole lot. Even still, all of his changes, additions, and polishes made it even better.

The issue of Prophet that I've enjoyed most so far has been the Dalrymple-illustrated issue; and by quite a wide margin. There was just something so much more insane—and this for a book that's THE pure-imagination comic of the mainstream right now—about a John Prophet being hunted by a mutant John Prophet while being…

If you like Graham's work and strap-on sex, I'd recommend locating a copy of Thickness #2 before it's gone forever.

I think Suicide Squad is easily one of the worst comics of the relaunch and I cannot wait for it to get canceled. I do not, however, think it's a tragedy that Suicide Squad is essentially replacing the vastly overrated Secret Six. My god people think way too much of that series.
Sava, I demand credit for pointing out the ridiculousness of the "live bait/jailbait" quote in the Azzarello interview. Shower me with your delicious credit.
Rucka's Punisher is very good, but the art might throw you. It took me a while to warm up to it, at least. Issue #7 of Punisher will see Michael Lark on the book and his work is expert.
The previews of Noel were really weak. The guy just cannot write Batman without making him sound like some hyperbolic psychopath. For example:
I think Snyder's Batman is better, but Azzarello's Wonder Woman is definitely one of my favorites.
Capullo draws the cowl exactly as it should be drawn.

Ha! I totally forgot about that. Indeed, Arcane gets his head kicked off in hell, but not by Swamp Thing. Rather, Etrigan runs up at just the right moment and punts Arcane's head further into hell.
I've only read Moore's run on Swamp Thing. I know Arcane existed before that, and, as Wikipedia is never wrong, was most likely Abby's uncle. In Moore's run, after having already defeated Arcane once, Swamp Thing battles with an Arcane-infected Matt, Abby's husband.
For an issue that was rife with allusions to the Swamp Thing of old (the "Wein" digger, Totleben's hotel, "1971" as Alec's safe combination), I'm curious to see whether or not this mysterious force of evil will be an allusion (if not the real deal) to Arcane, a villain from the old Swamp Thing. Moore himself even uses…
I agree completely about Batgirl. The last scene was just stupid. It made no sense. And who's that detective supposed to be? Montoya? It looks just like her, but her partner seems to address her by some other name.
That definitely wasn't meant to inspire rage or to slight you in any way, so I'm glad your initial reaction tapered off. It's just telling to me that you wouldn't want to watch replays when I personally love watching replays. I'll never be a superplayer, so when I get to watch an Ibara superplay, or a Mars Matrix…
Yeah. The shmups forum guys aren't the friendliest bunch, but some of them are very cordial and helpful. Honestly, though, it sounds like CAVE's shoot 'em ups aren't really your thing anyway (possibly add to the bunch Takumi, Raizing, and Psikyo's). Watching superplays and replays is a pretty important facet of…
