I don't care how much lube you use, months of back and forth has got to chafe something fierce.

Still thinking…..

OF QUIXOTE

Go easy on the puns, you're starting to sound a little horse.

Here, dude, I have plenty.

Oooh, good call. Sure wish I hadn't started in on this hoagie now.

Job, A.V. Club!

Way ahead of you.

Is it complex or complicated? YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

Whenever me and Mrs. Sumbich go out for pizza, we each get our own. Mostly because she likes black olives, which are the devil. Anyway, hooray leftovers!

Wait, so is it a good thing or a bad thing?  I'm confused.

Yeah, that's a little odd, although I'd argue whether Apple Valley is "nowhere near" Minneapolis.  In decent traffic with a good tailwind there's no reason you couldn't get to Apple Valley from downtown Minneapolis in half an hour.  You make it sound like Mankato or something.

I knew people who considered Van Halen metal back when this came out. I, on the other hand, was a skinny white kid into (pre-gangsta) rap who had no opinion on the matter.

No, you can still hear it at the roller rink. See also: swimming pools.

+1 Rock of Ages. Also, On Through The Night and Rock Brigade.

Also never made the rap connection.

I've heard them start that song as "We Will Rock You" and segueing pretty dang seamlessly.

@Iseult - I'm thinking "Frakes, face shaved" and it means, "change the channel"

You saw that, too? Oh, thank god, I thought I was having a stroke.

Part of me still likes to think that the Dark Tower ended with them riding off in Blaine at the end of The Waste Lands. That said I do overall like the way he ended it. I kind of think of it like you had the original poem, and then you have his story as another cycle, and now it's open for someone else to pick it up

Oh, man, I don't even remember the ending of Needful Things, that was a classic case of an awesome build up to a wtf ending. The Tommyknockers was classic King characterization with a plot that went completely off the rails in no time, if I recall.
