Man, these stories sure are a honeypot.

Most pop music journalists (and fans) have no formal musical training and so any description of the music is usually in the form of a figurative description of another band or song the reader might know: "like a and b doing y in a z".

Yeah, I was hoping for some mismatched cop/buddy scenario myself.

I'm quite partial to a drop of cunt punch.

"AV Club is another entity whose laziness is showing through their constant recourse to extreme self-consciousness".

The answer is, "I was on drugs and uh, et cetera".

Can't like; name makes me feel like punching myself.

Cheers everyone. I'll probably go with Savage Detectives when I can justify the time.

As soon as Holographic Tupac finishes laying down his guest raps.

Steve Buscemi would be better suited than Lenny fucking Kravitz to play Hendrix.

The Rolling Stones.

Ookay.

He can't really do anything else can he? Sit on a hard drive and then do another show at some point in the future?

I'd pay money to see a holographic Jim Morrison drunkenly flailing around a stage and then getting his holographic dinkle out.

Don't let Bill Maher hear you say that.

What the Tupac hologram says about our unwillingness to let rap’s most beloved icon rest in peace: we're unwilling to do it.

Thanks, both.

I know they like giving minority arguments a fair shake of the stick, but I can't help but think that there's been a little too much focus lately on things that, well, suck.

Shame your attempt to tell the internet how smart you are proved self-negating.

Further to that, can anyone recommend a Bolano to begin with?
