Those jokes were unlikable to you because they were offensive or because they weren't funny? Because I don't see how this show is "offensive" to anyone anymore - it tries SO obviously hard to push buttons that it falls on its face 99% of the time.

I know recent episodes/storylines pissing on the show's history is nothing new and shouldn't bother me at this point, but I felt uneasy when something so big (Homer technically fathering dozens of other kids) was dismissed so casually.
