Today's word of the day:
Misanthrope.

Isn't Abe Vigoda oh so very old?
A few years ago I was watching the roast of Dennis Leary and my dad remarked that the old Friars Club roasts concerned huge stars and that Leary was pretty much a nobody. I looked into it and the Comedy Central roasts are produced by Leary's production company. The whole thing kind

WAS IT LIKE A TERRY'S CHOCOLATE ORAGE?
Those bad boys are tasty. I'd go for those, and I don't ever buy candy.

spike
Yup, that's him. Troubling, and calls into question a lot about the show if they hired an actor with the intent of shaking things up a bit.

Give us a clue, Scott
Likey?

I'm not liking the gender reversal experiment
Are there better ways to go about it, like making it all girl geeks or a 50/50 combination?

This is my favorite show,
and if it starts going in the direction of Buffy with the melodram and extreme tonal shifts, I'll drop it as quick as I can. I enjoy the Monster of the Week format for the time being.

macseries
I think that the cape would generate sufficient drag to slow him down more.

Persia
I recall enjoying Uma in this piece of shit as well. She alone seemed to realize how bad the movie was and played it incredibly campy. I could just be making an excuse for her, like I did for Parker Posey in Blade III.

Fuck Blender
I'm still mad at them for putting Primus on this list:

oh,
except Garfield, and Osmosis Jones.

Ouch, I liked Napoleon Dynamite
and I'd like to hope that one of the contributing writers did as well. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but mine is better than yours.

"to be fair, lydon is a talentless fuckbag"
That might be the least fair statement ever. Excellent.

Best Duets
I clicked on the link, and I was pleased to no end to see that Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue's "Where the Wild Roses Grow" was voted one of the best duets ever.

where do people stand on Elf?
I was almost literally dragged into the theater because I didn't want to see it that much, but was pleasantly suprised. This may have everything to do with such low expectations.

aLSO IN SHARON'S DEFENSE
Benjamin Bratt IS a terrible actor.

return to oz
Done. He totally did that.

Lewis black is one note
Make no mistake, it's a pretty sweet one note to have, but this sounds bad too me, and a little too close to that Colin Quinn debate show.

You're absolutely right, Nathan.
However, I wouldn't discourage anyone for even a second from seeing this. This is an excellent bad movie, and the ending is almost too hilarious.

Yes, Yes!
They're pretty big out here. I saw them during their Absolution tour, and they were fantastic.
