Has any one of you noticed that this not the emperor Juluis Cesar, this character was introduced in the second episode of season 4 as Gaius Juluis Ceasar, who is a roman general.  The emperor's full name is "Tiberius" Julius Caesar Augustus. I dont know why they didn't named Crassus son the actual historical name.
