Interesting idea, but i think it's unlikely. I suspect 'The Phantom' is Lane.

Season 5 of WW, immediately after Sorkin's departure is uneven, to say the least. It's downright terrible in some cases. However, it really picked up again in 6 & 7 when it essentially became a different show by picking up the campaign trail for the next president.

Just about everything that can be said on this probably has, but i'm going to venture an opinion anyway.

Not sure i agree that it's not better for it, but that is one brilliantly succinct summary of what Cars is.

Yes. That's a good call. Season 5 is terrible once they get past the wrap up of the kidnapping plot. Seasons 6 & 7 are great, but you've got to wade through some sludge to get there.

I picked up Season 1 of Parks & Recreation over a year ago after hearing so many good things. My wife and I watched the first episode and thought it was amusing but nowhere near good enough to watch more. I have never watched another episode. This article, though, makes me think I should just pick up Season 2 and go

While Cars is clearly not top-tier Pixar, I don't believe it's a significant drop in quality. I find it quite moving in its depiction of the loss of small town America, the nostalgia for past glory, finding your place in a community - that kind of thing. It's a bit too long and has some problems with its tone, but I

You're more or less right about Feast, I think. My main issue with it is just that's overly long rather than boring (and, as written above, it's missing several of the best characters). The most promising thing that this article doesn't pick up on is that the TV show has a much greater scope for making it work because

I think both the fifth and sixth Potter books are water treading. They're essentially set-up for the final book (half of which is set up itself). The whole horcrux thing is wheel-spinning storytelling at its most egregious.

not Bridget, welcome to the world of just about everyone who doesn't live in the United States for almost every other show that isn't Sherlock.

I didn't get the impression Todd was on about the 'horrors' of fundamentalism only that, as he has clarified, his upbringing had an impact on shaping his worldview in ways both positive and negative. I don't think he meant that as a broad slap across any and all conservative/fundamentalist families or experiences.

I would like to point out here that I happen to really like the blu/DVD/digital packs. I think it gives you the best of both worlds: physical media of the highest quality, plus maximum flexibility. I have a blu ray player at home and almost none of my friends have one, plus i have a lengthy train trip to work every

It's probably pointing out the obvious to say that just because something is accurate, doesn't mean it's not also imbued with symbolism.

Spot on. The more you think about the circumstances around them having a third child and the way they hijacked the system to get into Terra Nova, the worse it is.
