Hey guys I'm sorry I said something negative about Whedon, I didn't know he was basically untouchable.

I didn't care for much of it, the rest was mediocre and I could get what it was doing but the ending was well stupid.

I don't care what tropes it referenced, it didn't make the movie any better.

That's a matter of opinion, just because Whedon did this one doesn't mean crap, It was just a Scream like movie. Yes they were in the same league even had some of the same basic ideas.

Well, it was a shame he got shafted from The Deer Hunter, but I enjoyed Blue Thunder for what it's worth.
