And here I thought Jimmy was doing a Beetlejuice impression.

Jessica Chastain decided her guest spot on Veronica Mars fulfilled her detective TV show quota for her career.

I really liked it too. Even though it was treading fairly well-trodden ground, it did it in a lovely way, and I liked it more than the similar idea as depicted in The Amber Spyglass.

That one was cute.

Indeed, that is how Fitz and the Tantrums got started.

It is really that good. It's beautiful and horrific and clever and surprising and brilliant.

This episode had a ridiculous body count. Three in one episode! Sure, two were people we just met, but still.

No! That's what I thought I heard too!

It was my first experience with a book that opens with a character you assume will be the protagonist and then kills him. I loved it from start to finish.

Good Sommelier mode was new! Usually there's just yelling mode and whiny-before-yelling mode.

I will agree with you there! That was probably my favorite Craig moment in the episode. I also have to admit some of his private yelling re: wine choices worked well, largely because his Good Sommelier persona at least showed that Billy Eichner has more than two modes.

Jamm is actually funny in his awfulness. Craig is bracingly unfunny.

That is indeed how money works. In order for that to happen, however, Ben will have to ask his father to reissue a check he resented getting and did not want in the first place. Was one flaming catharsis worth that awkward conversation, Ben? WAS IT?

I am dismayed that they are giving Craig an actual purpose on this show because that means he will not be trampled to death by the ghost of Lil Sebastian.

It was so MOSBY BOYS of her.

It is actually "EVERYONE!!!" as the above-linked YouTube link shows. Someone needs to check the captions for episodes 4 and 6 and see if Oldman was namechecked there as well.

I clapped with utter glee at that one.

I love the metaphor about stars so very, very much.

Yeah, that one is way better. I assumed that was what this post was about.

That's what I thought it was too and now I read the comments and watched the scene again and yeah oh God.
