I really like Dan Fogler in that role. I didn't think he was very good in any of those mid 2000s comedies he starred in, but as Franklyn, his acting was great.

I agree, I was going to use this kill but it took a little too long to get to the point, which slowed down the cut, and the head popping off looked a little silly next to all of the other gnarly kills.
