Persona is a spinoff of Shin Megami Tensai, a popular jRPG franchise.
It's not just what happens (Although the teachers throwing chalk and shit is a start), it's in the press release about it. The english translations use the phrase "Juvenile School" but apparently a better translation would be something like juvie.
Also to summarize the Japanese press release:
So, Social Links: Are they in or out? On the menu, the entry (IIRC it used to be Commu) has been replaced with Cooperation, which implies that they've been at the very least renamed, if not substantially reworked.
There are pretty clearly more that have just been cut out of the scene at the bar. You can see where they'd sit and, more importantly, they seem to have forgotten to cut a wine glass prop one of them would presumably be holding. Plus at one point an androgynous figure in a kitsune mask appears, which doesn't match any…
People always say that, but I don't think it's fair. The same goes for the sentiment that it's just an elder scrolls game with guns. It's not either of those things because there's a huge dearth of content, the systems design is bad (although lord knows un-fucking SPECIAL is a Fool's errand), and it's over-reliant on…
The Lead's talked at length about how they fucked up the Legion. Basically there was a swath of settlements east of the Colorado river (He didn't name names, but Dolan Springs was probably the main one) that got cut for time during scoping, and they did this because they figured few players would go for the legion…
Completely unrelated, but the new Trailer for Persona 5 is awesome hot great. Has anyone else seen that?
That's because Fallout 3 is a bad, poorly constructed game made by people who were just so excited to be making a fallout game that they forgot to actually make it good or to actually make it hang together well. It's not a coherent product, it's a cargo cult assemblage of homages to the old games, decent-to-good…
I think that most of these don't really land that well because they're so over the top and operatic. I mean who is ever going to be in a situation where they have to choose whether to accept a magical curse? Or to decide who lives and who dies? Yeah, dramatically some of them make a lot of sense, but I can't really…
It's not a dirty trick at all. IMO it's one of the few times that homages to Fallout 1 and 2 actually worked in the game.
I always thought they really wussed out on The Pitt, actually. It's heavily implied that they're going to kill the baby and get the cure much faster through vivisection. But instead all that changes is which pair of dickbags is researching her all slow-like.
Manga are japanese comic books. They're very different from the western tradition in a lot of ways, mostly ones that make working on them terrible and make the vast majority of them terrible.
If you're going to do a western version of Astro Boy, just adapt Urusawa's version.
Two reasons:
Eh— Not EVERY reason to not get vaccinated is bullshit. Just most of them.
Universal doesn't actually own Namor at this point. They did back when this graphic was made, but he's actually at Marvel now, pending a big fat settlement.
It was announced in 2010, alongside Doctor Strange, Ka-Zar, Dazzler, and Luke Cage. That doesn't mean a ton though.
I don't even think it's an issue of how much Capaldi you can take. Capaldi is a really, really talented actor and comic performer. I think the issue is that they take until series 4 to actually DO much with him beyond delightfully inventive vulgarity, unless you count the book and app.
