Eh. It's an anthology show. Provided they bring good people on (and Brooker's supposed to be attached to any international version) and it winds up on a channel with some stones, it's just going to be more episodes in a different accent.

The Top Gear song was aces. As was the Charlie Hedbo cover joke.

It's a sci-fi/horror anthology show about the way we live now, and the way we might live in the future if we're clumsy.

A series 2 trailer. The "More" spot. None of the material in that one was from the show, it was mostly misdirection.

From all accounts, Brooker's attached, it's the same production company… if all goes well, it'd basically just be HBO paying for the fourth series instead of 4.

Yeah, it's quite out of date too. Namor is Marvel's but they need to pay a settlement to use him, amongst other things.

Power Pack has been in development since at least 2010. That doesn't necessarily mean a movie is coming, as a lot of marvel projects either take YEARS or die on the vine. Of the other projects Marvel announced at the same time, only one (Doctor Strange) has gone into production.

I s'pose we just experience the shows in different ways.

I dunno though, the show's dedicated a lot of time to talking about the regeneration thing, what it's like, exploring how different characters feel about it, and so on. It's kinda hard to shake that, at least in my experience.

It's even worse. The screenplay was by the guy who wrote Surrogates.

I'm not sure if I'm for or against a female doctor. The
core of the character remains the same every time. He's always basically
the same person. He's on the side of the angels but he's too
manipulative and arrogant to really be one of them, He's always a bit
comic and goofy. He's always anti-authoritarian.

Children of Earth was okay.

I dunno. I think that if they were kept at arms' length it'd open a lot of doors for new and interesting stories.

According to Private Eye, he's had several spinoff pitches. None of them have gone anywhere because he's already got projects on the go and there have been a lot of problems behind the scenes on Who.

What I like about the idea is that Romana is really cool and awesome and rad. She's like a less shambolic version of the Doctor in a lot of ways. She's the one who actually bothered to stay behind and sort things out. She stayed in E-Space. When she was elected president, she stuck around and governed. She's a

They don't, actually. Well, maybe they do. It's complicated.

It really seems like the records of his that work have more to do with the producer than with him.

That's true. Although part of what makes Veep better, I think, is that it's a lot less specific and accurate than TTOI. Some episodes feel really dated.

Because everything else can change and there've been a couple references to Time Lords changing sex as is?

I think Moffat actually wanted to do a Romana show. He's proposed several spinoffs but always gets told no because he's got too many plates spinning as-is.
