Mass Effect 1 Update from TI's resident Bumbling But Enthusiastic Spazztastic Casual Gamer:

Oh no!  That's terrible!  I, too, think you should go home.   You get bereavement time for losing all your music, right?  At least that QotSA album came out just in time!

It is eerie!  Although I cry foul because your shuffle was way better than mine today.  (I think I have never heard the Low song on your shuffle, and I'd bet good money that today was the first time I heard the one on my shuffle.)

Marc Ribot "Bateau"
Ceramic Dog "Bread and Roses"  It's apparently Ribot Day on the ol' Hugs And Hisspod!
Tomahawk "Rotgut"  This one was entirely appropriate since I'm still high off seeing Tomahawk live on Sunday and Tuesday.  They killed "Rotgut" both nights.  ::happy sigh::
Young Gods "Prolouge"
Low "Take Your Time"

I'm very disappointed that the only Lanegan to be had here is backing vocals Lanegan.  WTF?!

My first and last show there was Melvins Lite last year.  I'd never seen a show in a venue that small, so I was extremely tickled that Buzz, Dale, and Trevor Dunn had to walk through the crowd to get on and off the stage.

I'm not a fan of pop on the whole but ABBA?  ABBA is something special.  It's not even a guilty pleasure for me and I'm not afraid to shout it out*!  "Does Your Mother Know" is another good one, but "Chiquitita" will always be my absolute favorite.

Username:  Whenever someone knocks something in pop culture that I love, I just want to hug that pop culture close and hiss at the heathens who just don't understand it properly.

Yup!  :D  At the very least, they should buy the CD of Vol. 1 which comes out shortly.

Is Mako the lunar lander?  It sounds fun?  Sigh.  I'm so intrigued by the story so far, though, so it's worth the elevator rides.  I also love how Shepherd is a superstar space commander and yet his conversational gambits with aliens seems to start and end with "You look and talk funny!  Goodbye!"

I'm such a dork — I spent all morning reading Joystiq's roundup of the Xbox One and the thing that's hanging me up the most is the threat that the controller is going to have an integrated battery pack.  I want to be able to use good old fashioned AAs!  When I play my controller into the ground, I don't want to futz

Mark Lanegan & Duke Garwood, "Black Pudding".  It's fabulous!  I'm not at all familiar with Garwood, but I'm going to have to investigate further.  I read some reviews that suggested "Black Pudding" was too challenging for US audiences to use as a launching point for Garwood, but honestly, I don't hear anything about

I'm finally getting around to playing Mass Effect.  I get really, really into the games I love, so when they end it takes me a long time to get over it and accept a new game.  I was feeling kinda despondent about Mass Effect not being Bioshock Infinite so I sort of spaced out when the game taught me out to fight.  I,

I unabashedly love "I Have A Dream" but I haven't heard it in ages!  I'm living vicariously through you today.

The new Lanegan is fabulous!  It's more like his earlier solo stuff than Blues Funeral, so they make a nice combo.

::shifty eyes::  I totally didn't buy all presents I want…  ::nervous laughter::  ::runs to return crateful of root beer floats I'd ordered::

SPOILERS

Happy birthday!  Sunbathing and drinking sounds like a fabulous way to celebrate!

Mark Lanegan Band "Little Willie John"
I was hoping my ipod would kick off with one of his new songs, but I suppose one of my all-time favorite old songs will have to do.
Pelican "Sirius"
A friend of mine is going on a loooooong plane ride soon and asked for suggestions.  Sadly, my tip to just put Pelican on and then

Don't forget Mark Lanegan!  He's a one-man walking side project!
