I was really hoping my shuffle would play all new Melvins, but I guess my ipod's no longer reading my mind.  I guess I'll just have to cue up "In Every Dream Home A Heartache" on repeat by myself!  Stupid ipod.

Tomahawk "Aktion 13F14"
Nick Cave "Finishing Jubliee Street"
Greg Dulli "Pussywillow"
Big Business "Battlefields"
House of Hayduk "N"

I'm so puzzled by this cashew hate.  It's like people who say they hate chocolate but somehow ever weirder.  Maybe all this time these other people have been eating walnuts but are being told they're cashews?  That's literally the only explanation I can think of to explain this.

Pretty sure he's still with Ipecac.  Can you see Patton affiliating himself with a label called "Joyful Noise"?

I had some "Director's Cut" in my shuffle today, too, only is was my least favorite track.  Of course, the worst track on DC is still better than 99.9% of all other music, so I don't know why I'm complaining…

"Curious One" was also my top pick, especially when you compare the RRR version to the more pared down live version they posted on YouTube a while ago.  But "Me Gusta" is #1b.  My shuffle hit up "The Newsreel" today, too, which I hadn't heard in ages; I'd forgotten how good that one is.  Basically, what I'm trying to

Melvins Amazon (Part 4)
Fantomas The Omen
Mark Lanegan Field Song
Bonnie Prince Billy Another Day Full of Dread
Sex Mob Dr. Yes

I tried putting this on Madbetnik's but Disqus was being a jerk.  Maybe it likes this thread better.
Farmers Market From Prussia With Love
Super Meat Boy OST Hot Damned RETRO
Mike Patton The One Armed vs 9 Killers (that made a shockingly nice segue from Super Meat Boy!)
Mike Patton Ti Offra di Bene
Tomahawk Mescal Rite 2

Haxan Cloak has been on my music to-do list for months!  Thanks for reminding me I should bump it to the top sooner rather than later.

Brilliant!

These jokes are all fabulous!

The tweens can doodle "Mrs. Gleason" on their Trapper Keepers and they can like it!

Congratulations!

Your husband has my deepest sympathies!  I was fine until about ten years ago.  I took a trip to IKEA in North Jersey, got a cough, and blammo — I've had terrible allergies ever since.  Some say it's really common for people get allergies when they turn 25, but I'm going to blame IKEA instead.

My last metal purchase was to pre-order Jamie Saft's new experimental microtonal metal group's record.  I thought I was being all smart about checking the pound-to-USD conversation rates, but forgot to check the shipping and at the last minute tossed in another CD which I didn't bother converting the price on, and

I've never started a thread over here, but I'm in need of new good jokes, so how about a…

@avclub-de4a08d644135b09bd7e1a592dff156b:disqus Mine usually opts for "Do You Know The Way To San Jose", so this was a nice change today.

Oh, to have seasonal allergies instead of just a all-year-long allergy to apparently everything in the air around me at home and at work.

Tango Saloon "The Little Plane That Could"
Nine Inch Nails "Pilgrimage"
Bohren and Der Club of Gore "Belied" (I think my ipod wants me dead.  Why else would it play 13 minutes of doom jazz at seven-fucking-thirty in the morning while I'm on my high-speed commute to work?  Does it want me to drive off the road that
