Thank you. I knew and said that but I thought access to the drugs made more of a difference. I stand corrected.

The joke I made this summer was that God was recalling all the cool artists for one bitchin' party before He had to hunker down to work answering the deluge of prayers from people living in a Trump administration. I retract it now!
He was a gay male pop star in the 80s. Did he have AIDS? We think it's a chronic treatable condition now, but even being able to afford the drugs, you don't know what other fatal illnesses that can come from it. We need to find a cure.
I particularly like "And charity is a coat you wear twice a year."
The lyrics for Praying For Time seem apt for this year and the ones to come:
Get well, get well soon, we want you to get well.
Dozens, huh? Man, there's so much art out there that I have trouble reading a beloved book again. Even though books are totally richer for second and x number readings.
I'm two episodes into Search Party, interested to find out why it was put on some critics' year-end lists. The first episode goes out of its way to portray everyone not Dory as comically exaggerated self-involved narcissist millennials. I assume so that the rest of the show can then humanize them. The hook is high…
Good luck; you're doing work in the true spirit of the season, Mr. Greene. Maybe suggest she come over here, as we're all mostly empathetic people and she might get some advice from our trans community.
Not much. Going through some TV online: finished Black Mirror, with a fantastic movie feature length episode; and 3%. "Chap. 6, Glass", which is good.
Hail Satan! Or, after this year, should it be "Heil, Satan"?
"Wait a minute—I thought I was getting a documentary on the origins of one of the toughest geopolitical crises of our time."
"Oh, we'll take it back, sir."
"I didn't say I didn't like it."
"So why are you calling?"
"To make this joke."
"Oh."
"That's what I did after watching."
Obligatory plug, then, in honor of the #1, for Netflix's Bloodline, ending after it's upcoming third season, but a great, literary show about a dysfunctional family/ and decent Southern crime thriller. For nothing else, see it for Ben Mendelsohn, whom I hear is in a space opera film or something.
Seconded. My favorite performance of hers that I've seen came at the Arista Records 25th anniversary, sixteen years ago. This is a version of "Why" that is more possession than performance.

I haven't checked your posts (sorry); nice of Colbert to be second, after starting out rocky. It may be because he's now posting everything, from interviews to comedy bits, on YouTube.
The NYT reports that the Trump family is scrambling to fix its YUGE conflict of interest business problems before inauguration day. So far, they're not really doing much, aka not actually letting go of their companies. Though they are shuttering some deals in some countries, and planning to close the Trump Foundation,…
Merry Christmas! I happened to finish the latest season of that jolliest of shows, Black Mirror. Rankings, with a spoiler-filled thematic defense of the last episode; some TV critics are weird about their criticisms.
Ha! *sobs*
Disagree with the sting being left out. So there are three levels of society here, all trying to do good, but, taken together and abused, or misdirected, they end up causing mass genocide. Actually, four, starting and ending with the lone individual.
Mom gave me her work Secret Santa gift: a Brookstone electronic organizer from 20 years ago. I now finally have a non-paper space for storing all my phone numbers! The alarm feature has the running time. So happy Friday Jan. 10 1997 everyone. (I haven't found the "time travel" code, yet.)
