That's coming out in October. Yes! I want to see the Cate Blanchett narrated version.

I like to go on Twitter. Yesterday I checked in to see that #HillarysStool was trending. I quickly checked out. Sigh, come on people.

Scorsese's Silence. The book was very good. Malick's Weightless, which IMDB says is scheduled to be released next March; but with Malick, who knows?

How's Freeman? I think he had to wear a ridiculously long wig. A good performance or phoning it in? Is his character like his Moor from Robin Hood?

I more than understand that.

Is he the latest example of the apparent problem of binary thinking this country (and possibly world) seems to have? You know, we should follow our own motto here: not only can something be two things, but it can be three, four, ten, etc. Even if he were a rapist, that doesn't take away from the important, apparently

Well it's possible for someone to do a horrible thing and a good thing (like making a fantastic movie about the black experience in this country), or many horrible things, and many good things, and they don't cancel each other out. I personally don't judge people for life based on on action they did—whether it be good

One of them being this Scott Feinberg interview with Fyvush in I assume a Brooklyn deli. It's 45 minutes and delightful, as everything was about this man.

I more than understand that, but I'm having the opposite problem. Trump is so fascinating on a historical level, that to go through it in real time makes me miss all the other, important news. And he makes so many gaffes, incredible statements, and there are so many stories of how he fucked up in the past personally

Are they swing states where he's got a shot? Because I think he took two needless trips last and this week to Connecticut and Wisconsin, states where he doesn't really have much of a chance.

I don't know about the sports scenes being the best or particularly well done (I don't remember) but Million Dollar Baby is a great movie, though I guess not really for its boxing story. Speaking of boxing, I'm sure Michael Mann's Ali had fantastic boxing scenes (also don't remember).

"North Korea is no joke." Remember out collective patriotic duty last year to see The Interview? I wonder if the movie is picking up conservative viewers or have they forgotten about it. I didn't do my American duty, and haven't seen it.

Maybe Nolan and O'Neal can comically share a byline.

I'll endorse DeNiro playing the eponymous The Intern, a good gentle human comedy.

I thought I was a careful reader, scanning the comments to make sure nobody had mentioned it! Oy vey! (I've been listening to a few Fyvush Finkel interviews, and I loved the way he talked, as well as everything else about him.)

HA! In the Oscar and Felix of media news, Univision has bought Gawker Media for $135 million. So we're going to have to learn to get along with each other, lest wacky shenanigans ensue.

Didn't watch his show, so in my ignorance and not caring I can ask this right after his death: shouldn't we be blaming him for turning journalism, and right-wing journalism, into mass conflict-generated punditry and entertainment? Was he in any way slightly responsible for Trump? Feel free to reply, "Wrong!"

Cheese it!

"Hey everybody—we're all gonna get laid!"
