Couldn't agree more. Not to the same degree, but I also found the idea of The Veldt really disturbing, in the best way possible.

This comment is perfection. My only true high points from seasons 5 and 6 were (SPOILER) Jen and Dawson's brief reuniting (so much better than the first time around), the episode where Pacey and Joey get locked in the store, parts of the finale aaaaaaand…that's it.

People like me - I was fresh off college graduation and working as a substitute teacher at the time and had totally sworn off the show when it was airing. But I'd have to get up to await calls every morning, and rock blocks of DC aired from 8:00-noon, so if I didn't get a call (and toward the end of the school year…

@Scrawler2:disqus , I'd definitely agree about MW through the first two seasons. By the end I liked her best and definitely thought she was the most talented (especially with - MILD SPOILER - the increasingly boring-ass storylines they kept giving her). She and "Grams" on-screen together always guaranteed I'd be…

Since the night I first saw that movie I became a kid who could not, under any circumstances, sleep without something covering my head (to keep out earworms, hoping like hell they weren't already in the bed), and I remain that way as an adult twenty-plus years later.

Oh, no, I totally didn't take it that way! It's a great rant and I agree with you 100% - first off it's impractical, and secondly as PM he had every right to ask for at least an idea of what would get painted. I never even thought about the idea being planted, or that Debbie had mentioned it before (no doubt…
I was momentarily surprised at Aubrey's firing, but then again had she stayed it would've made the ending predictable (as in, there's no way in hell Trump would pick her). Should've known Trump's immense man-crush on Arsenio would win out, no matter how many nasty things he called Aubrey.
Holy shit, while I found it ridiculously amusing too, I got the worst rush of second hand embarassment for both Adam and Magic when he (Magic) turned and started delivering his spiel in profile.
I agree, @avclub-9fd15d31837278f41e39da273fc7ef0b:disqus . And I hope we're both wrong…then again, if she goes up against Clay (which seems to be the concensus), I honestly think she'll lose. Not necessarily because he's better, but - like others have said - I really can't see Trump giving her the win. And watching…
I think you're right. But the guy love Trump has for Arsenio knows no bounds. Was it just me, or was the crush just ridiculously apparent this week? Trump was practically cooing at him with bedroom eyes.
I wondered that too, because as soon as they both stepped out in that hallway you knew Teresa was going to get trampled. And as mean as it may have been, it's one of the only times Lisa's actually made me smile this season.
I totally agree that some of the criteria Rich was using wasn't as applicable this season, but goddamn if it wasn't so cathartic seeing him (and Matlin) take everybody to task on some of the stuff we've been bitching about here all season! Watching Aubrey bordering on a teary temper tantrum under his scrutiny? Almost…
I don't know that either could crush her, but I think it could get really interesting depending on who else is on his (Clay's or Arsenio's) team.
