But Mazeroski actually won a World Series.
But Mazeroski actually won a World Series.
We don't do firsties anymore. Part of the new format. Conform, or be banished to the hinterlands.
Hank has a key. He knows what's up. He also has to deal with the fact that Walt is family. Why did Gus just blurt out Gale's name?
Oh it works baby!!!
Why the delay, Meredith? Are you a closet Red Sox fan who had problem with Larry giving Buckner some redemption?
Yes he did. So the Cartel wants Walt to be their cook, giving them an in on Gus's turf. So will they approach Walt before they move on Gus, with a sweeter deal? At this point, Walt is motivated by his own sense of importance, sure, but that sense comes directly from money.
Plus, in Season Five, Gus's boss was Gale.
If it's Walt they wanted, and Gus was willing to pay 50 million to make all that talk go away…
I think that was John Tyler.
This won't be a cop show. Hank is the wild card here, though. He's the one guy who has the time on his hands to think this whole thing through, and yeah, his colleagues were less than thrilled to hear his theory. There's a story there.
Possible series ending: Tommy has been dead the entire series and his whole life during the show is from the viewpoint of a ghost.
Grades
Are irrelevant with this show. I've never seen anything like this. Maybe others have, but the whole Walter White arc is amazing. From down on his luck cancer patient chem teacher to the guy who knocks on the door. That's a pretty neat trick.
Never
Make the AV Club like you. Never!
I can't wait to fiddle with the new system either. Good job AV Club.
George didn't kill Bubble Boy. In "The Pilot", when they are showing all of the people from previous episodes and their reactions to the show, Bubble Boy was one of them. In fact, I think he was also in the finale.
I of course have the solution for those who have a problem with these reviews. Sopranos - Season 5.
I remember reading they would start in August. It ain't gonna be August forever.
Sweet. Thanks for the link.
Thing is, I posted that when he sent away his local cop friend, saying he had nothing more to give him. I thought right then and there he had sold his soul. As it turned out, maybe not. But yeah, he might be bringing down a shitstorm. This show better have a 5th season, because there are too many loose threads…
Hank
Made a rather huge decision tonight.
Nah. It would be a wandering daughter job.
