I'm sure Dusty Hoffman would ball you if you sent him a nice letter, he's a beautiful man.

Yeah, I enjoyed it for what it was worth, not saying I didn't, I like to turn my brain off and watch trash, and even better when I'm being told that watching trash is super-cultural. And I prefer the never-resolving build Nolan uses filmically to the way Tarantino does it with dialogue over and over and over again.
Drunkirk? Slamsformers 3: Revenge of the Finlandia?
I thought Lynch had already decided not to put Anderson in it, then Anderson got mad about that? Even if he said awful things about Lynch and Lynch wrote him out (and it looks like he did that in 1992), that's not the same thing as having the character in the piece and being told "No" by somebody who you did a hell…
Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes - would have made a lot more sense?
and that wasn't really the most positive portrayal of the tribe, but, Coen Bros. so I'll allow it. Marcia Gay Harden also not so convincingly Jewish, but moreso than Lorraine Bracco in Goodfellas, Scorsese really isn't so great with the Jews (fool you sam rothstein!)
(my point there is that: that isn't how you denote a court case. That would be Hellboy v. Blood Queen, not Hellboy V. Blood Queen [does it stand for "Von"?] or Hellboy V Blood Queen [like Harry S Truman?] or Hellboy vs. Blood Queen [more a cage-trial than a court trial] — but for the record, see Hellboy v. Blood…
if you want a pure 1:1 on "Rises" "rise of" "Arisen" movies all sucking we are off to a good start! Rise of the Taj anyone?
I'm saying that Dunkirk is closer to Transformers than you want to admit.
it's similar to blowing C-list celebrities just because they're conservative, they belie their "moral" stance on kowtowing by doing it for worse actors. Same with the "liberal elite ivory tower": they want to be excluded because of their views, but it's mostly their idiocy. I read an article by a former Scalia clerk…
no more of this "RISE OF THE" shit, didn't "RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER" at least damage this convention? Hellboy: Blood Queen, that's fine. HELLBOY VS. THE BLOOD QUEEN is better but not Hellboy V Blood Queen because that doesn't friggin mean anything.
come on…you'd watch The Messenger again? be real, brosephine.
don't KEEP smoking it if it doesn't work.
check up-thread champ, this is you commenting on my thread.
a) you said "petty"
b) we'll check back and you'll be wrong, ergo my predicting things overall
c) eat a dick?
Me: Some people really like eating chocolate
Phaedrusnyc: Chocolate is poisonous to dogs!
Me: Then don't feed your dog chocolate?
Phaedrusnyc: Are you having, like, an entirely different conversation from the rest of us? Obviously, "don't feed your dog chocolate!"
how about we check back in after Episode 18 and you tell me if Harry had lots more adventures off screen besides dying horribly, which isn't a lot like the tributes to the people who died. If Joan Chen refused to return and Lynch included 5 minutes per episode of people busting up chiffarobes I'm sure you'd say…
then don't smoke it? I don't know many stoners who keep doing it despite it not being very enjoyable.
? Ontkean refused to return so they gave him cancer off screen and only update us with how awful it's going
they also covered this in Conjuring: they just had to move out of their better house and INTO this house because of money troubles (for a great movie about economic troubles, I'd recommend Hitchcock's "The Wrong Man" which is really meta-commentary on being broke)
