More seriously, in rural Ireland I was apparently a weirdo for wanting my coffee "black" - I think te very pretty lady assumed I merely wanted to do it myself because she gave me a small saucer of creme to go with the coffee and the slightly perturbed look she had on her face.  Either that, or she thought I had a cat.
