That's the first thing that popped into my head too. I don't think the ending is anywhere near as good as the first few minutes.

You should all be asking yourselves …
If this is real, why is she recording it? Narrating it no less … explaining each step.

There's an older release from Blax Film that's out of print now. You can grab used copies on Amazon. It's full screen though and the new Warner Archive one is widescreen.

"Houdini" is probably the easiest to like … if you don't like it, you won't like them period. In that sense, it's probably the best place to start.

What puzzles me
I can understand why people don't like his films, but why do folks seem to get so mad about them? Christ, don't watch them and move on. Some people seem completely unable to accept the fact that people enjoy different kinds of things and that fact doesn't really say anything deeper about them.

I'm stunned that anyone would think there's a meaningful distinction between "Clue" and "Doom".

Other than this very article, where has this movie popped up for reassessment? I haven't heard one word about it since it sank like a stone in theaters.
