You know where their story is heading, right? I assume there's a reason for modeling them so specifically on a particular real life couple. I hope I'm wrong about this — she's a cutie and hugely likable and I really don't want to see her end up like a character in a Poppy Z. Brite novel — but I don't think I am.

You realize, I hope, that the characters who do this the most egregiously aren't meant to be likable or admirable?

I've not checked out ZOMBIE FACTORY yet, but steer clear of THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF HORROR COMICS. The black and white production is muddy and horrible and they don't have the rights to any Warren stuff.

I wan less than thrilled by the film, but other people seem to like it, some of whom have said so in these comments. While I'm several varieties of douchetard, I'm not not the kind who thinks that everyone who praised a film I didn't care for is some kind of liar, paid flack or charlatan.

I'm well aware of not only who "Mart" is but how much of a nasty little shit Mr. Amis happens to be. Hence my remark about the two of you being equally deserving of a smash dunk to the toilet bowl, followed by disciplinary sodomy.

"Really? Well, what about a Mart then? "
