That's what I was wondering.  Is it that the Chicago staff are still asleep and haven't thrown the big, novelty "New Disqus" switch in the office?   It's right over there, candystriped, and it has the big bow around it?  Yep, that's the one.

I've had a Disqus account which I've used on other sites, but it seems 50/50 as to whether it lets me log in with it at any given site. 

But on the other hand…

I think the small amount of space AV Club dedicates to reviews - moderate but not excessive - can work for movies and tv and music, but felt a little…spare…for game reviews.  Gamers want more detail, not a quick couple of paragraphs.  At least that's what the majority of complaints seemed to be about.

"Collapsible B"?  What does that mean?  I don't know nautical terms!   Maybe I shouldn't have punched that crew member who tried to hand me a life jacket.

Speaking of warm jets, wasn't Dikus mach 2 supposed to start today?  I'm standing here with flowers feeling like a sucker!

Not to mention that TV history is filled with shows that weren't instant hits, which seems to be what is demanded these days - unless it's a show that is critically acclaimed then they will often give it a bit more of a run.

My guess is it was missing the subtle nuances of a redneck calling all the furriners "towel-heads" and so failed to appeal to the mainstream American public.

…or Friends' non-union Mexican equivalent.

The AV Club is right in the sweet spot for the coveted "socially awkward 18-49" demographic.

Yeah I'm a very occasional FB user.  I don't need to know what kind of sandwich all my friends are eating at any given moment.  But there's exactly 0% chance that I'll link anything to that account.

I try to live up to that every single day!
