Titanic wasn't a comedy?

I think Nic Cage has reached a point where he's most often a parody of himself, but still that's pretty damn good.  I think he's capable of being a good actor, but even when he's not "good" in the conventional sense I still give him plenty of slack because I love his persona, for the most part.

Ugh.  Mad TV had a good moment every once in awhile but man, they just killed it with recurring characters.  It got so you could map out like 3/4 of the show with which characters were going to appear that week.

The part of Castaway that gets me is when he shows up to his house at the end and his wife has remarried.  The devastation of that moment is so powerful.  And it's not like you can get mad at the wife, but still, it feels like betrayal of the worst sort.

HDB, here's the flaw in your argument:  "…He's basically a slightly more competent version of Jim Belushi…"
