I agree.  I like them a lot and Jack is very talented, but he's also apparently more than a little delusional about the "originality" of his sound.   Blues and blues rock is fairly derivative by nature.  Also, I like The Black Keys as well and I don't think they particularly sound like TWS.

If everyone takes their jokes back now they'd be Indian Givers.

"The Mountain That Rides" is not a blonde.

"The Trees" is certainly heavy-handed, but my teenage self was blown away when first hearing it.  I still love that song, though.
