I came to the conclusion that generically titled mumblecore-esque TV shows where flawed characters act shitty to each other just aren't for me. I gave Flaked, Love, Easy and Girls a shot and hated each one.

It's not really new. Ugly, messy characters are all over TV stumbling through dysfunctional relationships. I thought this show had its charms but ultimately fell flat. You're the Worst does it way better.
