You're right; what was I thinking?

Playing devil's advocate: I'm trying to think of films with a male superhero (or superhero-like) lead with a well-developed cast of men around them. Iron Man has a computer sidekick, Captain America teams up with Falcon, that dude he met running that one time, Thor has a band of merry men (and the Lady Sif), none of…
I'd like it for her, but I'd hate it for myself, because I want to keep watching this show.
The Tudors' Natalie Dormer! The Hunger Games' Natalie Dormer! The seriously terrible Casanova's Natalie Dormer!
If you're looking for a loophole, you could just say that Harry's class is just smaller than average. Nobody said there was an even distribution of students among houses. Maybe there are like, 50 Ravenclaws in his year.
You can make a strong case that the Harry Potterverse is significantly more well-thought out than the Bible.
The more I think about it, the question of whether or not to indoctrinate Paige is probably the first real parenting decision that P&E have had to make. In every other way, they've been trying to raise their kids as perfectly standard Americans, so everything else they've come up with for their daughter has been in…
That was the most uncomfortable scene I've watched all season. It tops at-home-dentistry and folding a dead body into a suitcase.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of Peggy Carter in the Marvel written canon.
I like Jeremy! And there's no indication that we won't see Cliff again.
But it was super weird that she just gave up on San Francisco so quickly. Why can't she just bring Gurglar to NY and start their practice there?
I agree with everything you say, Gwen, except your spelling of "capitol." Capitol with an 'o' refers only to the buildings that are generally found in state capitals, and the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
…Yeah, I think quality increases because it suddenly became a show with a driving plot and characters with real motivation, instead of a show about incredibly boring people on a shiny plane that pick up a random alien object every week.
I think a huge difference between Marvel's two shows is that this one is better written, period. There's a better developed world and better developed characters (the compressed time frame helps Carter with this, but doesn't really excuse S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Dooley wasn't being sexist… he wanted her to catch the guy who killed him, and make sure his wife knew he was sorry. He was acknowledging that she was the most competent agent in the room. That's why he didn't ask Thompson to do it.
New shows start with new central characters all the time. The problem was, the character (like the others) was poorly developed and had a lot of dumb lines.
I agree with @disqus_g9ca9Es5D1:disqus about one thing, I'm really rooting for Peggy because she's a good person with a goal I support. (It helps that she's a badass.)
Yeah. I believe that he is a responsible cop and did have a case; I would just have liked to see it.
I didn't get a Community notif…. aw.
That's the beautiful thing about most sitcoms- you come for the laughs, not for the long-game plot.
I really liked this episode. I felt like Holt's out-of-character bits were getting abused for laughs in the past few episodes, and this one really felt like S1 Holt.
Also, Boyle standing up for himself! Only complain about that plot- it was thin. Wouldn't Boyle have some evidence against Marvin before he brought him…
