Sometimes they used that man in the basement with all the phones to lend credibility. Like the episode when Reagan was shot and they impersonated members of Bush's staff.

I don't think so, or why would they need to put their kids in those jobs?
Ha! This was my question upthread, about whether or not a Second Generation Illegal's parents would be found out or not.
I think Claudia will be more regular next season, since her other show was cancelled, and we don't know if Sandra's gone for good. Kate is gone, but she wasn't such a well-rounded character anyway. I don't think all hope is lost yet.
Well, the successful career trajectory and happy family he had before he got in way over his head.
I like to think of it more as having faith in her own ability to turn Stan. A subtle but important difference.
By the same turn, everything Stan's caught up in is because of his own bad choices. Why pity him?
Well, either way it's a nod to us; I'm more interested in whether Stan knows or not.
I wrote this above, but I don't think he ever actually wanted to run away with her. He was willing to get her out safely, but he never intended to give up his whole life for her sake.
This is the second time in week I'm referencing this article that I swear was on the AV Club, but I can't find it.
Even Leanne and Emmett didn't know what was going on in their home…
How controversial would it be to air a show about a gay man in the 80s being blackmailed into spying for the KGB?
Here's a question: How hard would it be for Martha to check on Clark's identity? He works for the FBI, right? Couldn't she check an employee directory, or find some excuse to go to Internal Affairs (or whatever it's called, where he supposedly works), and find out that his story is a farce?
But he didn't know Nina didn't love him. I don't think he figured out she was playing him, do you?
I think next season there will be a lot of internal conflict in the Directorate S program. Maybe they're setting the Center up as the vague "antagonist" of next season.
That's what I thought when we initially met them. Then I thought I was being paranoid. Then I realized, there's no such thing as paranoid with this show.
I'd lean toward the latter, but I always judge Stan a little harshly. I think he wants to prove to himself that he's a good ANYTHING, as his whole life crumbles due to his own bad choices. His job is all he has left at this point, and he wants to salvage that.
Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only person to notice that. So does he subconsciously think she's stealing files, or was that just a joke for the audience?
…And by Kitty.
Jessica Paré is still pretty excellent, though.
