I enjoyed Adventureland, but don't really remember why. Don't think I'm going to rush out to buy it, though.

Barnes and Noble is far worse than Borders in that respect - always stick to list price unless there's a sale. Borders usually knocks off like 10%.

Sad thing is, I just saw a huge sign the other day for NCIS: LA. As if that were actually necessary… I'd much rather watch L&O: Elevator Inspectors Unit.

Back in the day, I saw Spider-Man on opening night, so it was a pristine new print without any scratches or anything. Just after Aunt May says "I hope Peter doesn't forget the cranberry sauce," the film got caught and started to melt. It was painful watching it happen to a new print like that. Plus, since theaters

There's always they chance we'll see some full frontal of Ronnie, I guess.

I would expect most AV Clubbers would know him from Carnivale.

I agree that it worked for her character to just break it off without comment - seems to fit into the whole therapy scene we saw previously.

SPOILERS?

Yeah, Xander was pretty wasted post-high school.

SPOILER

LOTS OF SPOILERS ABOVE HERE

On Spike - they never say it, but I think a large part of it is that Spike helped them defeat Angel at the end of Season 2. He had fought beside them, even if his motives were entirely different. With that history and with him effectively defanged, I don't think any of the gang could seriously have killed him

That would have been much cooler than Adam.

I think I would have been happy with just one more Initiative episode. It clearly wasn't going to work out, but it would have been nice to have just that one ep where it mostly worked out before it all went to shit.

Spoilers

Power of Nightmares was the shit. Though it did cause me to freak out a little when "Baby It's Cold Outside" was the official holiday song of 2008.

So, Shaggydog, did America reach its apex under Norton I or Prez?

Jimmy - I think the mummy just wants some fresh Maine lobster.

How the hell did Frost/Nixon cost $29 million to make?
I think the problem isn't so much that Universal's movies aren't doing well, but that they and everyone else are spending ridiculous sums on movies that should cost like a 10th of what they do. Remember when the special-effects laden films had budgets of like $15

Yeah, I think Tell Me You Love Me actually beats out True Blood on the nudity scales.
