Yeah, I thought it being the Weather Underground was a too obvious reference to Bill Ayers. Like, if he hadn't been in the news, it would have been an anonymous antiwar group or something.

@ Clarification - FOX only saw the original pilot, then interfered before any other episodes were shot. The original pilot was trashed and they started over, so we haven't yet seen anything sans network interference.

I also enjoy the feature and hope to see it continue. Also, I like the fact that most of these have been random older movies where people didn't even realize there was a book - it makes it kind of exciting and makes you want to go track down a used copy somewhere (until you realize that used paperback of Fast Times

So, wait, the guy in the picture is the guy who got off on being beaten up? Cause that was totally in the book.

El Santo - I really want to read that comic since I saw the cover.

No, no - the shorter review is the one demaded by the studio. That's why it's only 83 minutes long.

Here I thought Phipps was talking metaphorically about the emotionless style of Dr. Manhattan. But I think you must be right - he had to be talking about the blue wang.

I find myself explaining the phrase, "word on the street" a lot lately, usually by adding the clause, "and by street, I mean the google."

So a Stakhanovite was someone who could do the same. I personally think of the

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Ray turned into a graveling because he was killed by one of the reapers before his time. Honestly, I found the whole thing with Ray a little tiring, but I did like the way they ended it (with George reaping graveling Ray). It set up a lot of questions about George and how she was different

Yeah, I was sad to see Wonderfalls go, but felt that it least it seemed to go out with a proper ending. Unlike so many other shows that have been torn away from us too soon.

Second season was hit or miss. But there were also problems with the first season, so I don't really see a decline in quality.

Uh, yeah, Rorschach's crazy. He's not all off the wall bonkers or anything, but he seems to fit the elements of borderline personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder, just to name a couple. He may ultimately be right in a lot of cases, but his entire world view has been skewed by his experiences to the

Hey, Indiana Beach Crow, why isn't your avatar the Indiana Beach Crow?

@ Werdsmiff - nice use of Stakhanovite.

If anything, I was thinking Elitist Trash looked like a young Pete Postlethwaite.
