This is more a comment on the back half of this season than this episode (which I did enjoy). I think what's been missing has been a unifying storyline. That has been one of the strengths of the deaf storylines. They bring the cast together. Everyone seems isolated in their own storylines. Where are the family dinners…

Oh yes, I totally got the impression Regina killed herself. That's one of the things I love about Switched. They just put it out there that she died on the girls' birthday and let you come to your own conclusions. So much more powerful.

While I enjoyed this episode more than Carrie, I do agree that it was a bit more "on the nose" than normal. I think they tried to fit in too many storylines and as a result they all felt rushed.

Especially since the next two episodes look to have some big drama going on.
