Poor Toby was in a no win situation. He needed to tell her because that kind of secret is going to get out. But I'm not surprised that Nikki decided to shoot the messenger.

Jace reminds me of a girl I once knew. She could say some really awful things and her defense was always "I'm just being honest!" I'm a big believer that honesty is always the right answer. But there's a fine line between being honest and being an ass. I always think of the Bible verse "Speak the truth in love." Why…
Oh I agree that the birth mother was completely wrong in giving up their daughter without his consent. Especially since she KNEW he wanted to raise their daughter. In fact, she was awful to both Angelo and the adoptive couple. She knew what kind of situation she was creating. I guess she thought Angelo was just going…
Only the adults seem to have that problem! Lol When Daphne was with Chef Jeff, we got a nice lingering shot on her birth control pills. And when Bay was with Ty, she asked if he had condoms.
This is more a comment on the back half of this season than this episode (which I did enjoy). I think what's been missing has been a unifying storyline. That has been one of the strengths of the deaf storylines. They bring the cast together. Everyone seems isolated in their own storylines. Where are the family dinners…
Oh yes, I totally got the impression Regina killed herself. That's one of the things I love about Switched. They just put it out there that she died on the girls' birthday and let you come to your own conclusions. So much more powerful.
Yeah what was up with the latte art? That was so dumb.
I think Toby thought their relationship would improve after Bay moved out and it didn't.
I don't know what this says about me that I noticed but did anyone else notice that two lines in last week's promo didn't show up in the episode? Granted they might have got cut last minute but its weird that it happened twice.
I think it's funny because I bet the reverend knows full well that Toby isn't "sick." He's already blown off two sessions and now his fiancé says he can't make it because he's sick? I bet the reverend has heard that before. He just didn't call Nikki on it.
I think Daphne is helping John because she's still trying to connect with her birth family. Especially since she and Regina are going through such a rough patch. As for Bay, I'm very conservative but pretty apathetic myself so I get that. Though I think she's apathetic because of her youth while I've just lost a lot…
Sorry Mimic I can't reply directly to you. Thanks for the info. That's good to know. I hope most states have something like this set up. The older I get the more I realize that too many people don't consider those Big Issues you mention. That's why I was curious about what options are available to people outside the…
Agree about Wilke. Wish they'd bring him back. Simone-not so much.
I like Captain Asshat.
What I want to know is if learning sign that quickly is realistic. Even if you're a super genius can you pick up a new language that well that fast?
I guess I'm wondering if churches are the only ones that require/recommend that. I'm really only familiar with church weddings but premarital counseling seems like a good idea no matter where you're getting married. I guess I've just never really thought about it because now that I am I'm realizing who else would…
I called Jace a douche bag more than once tonight. Even though his character is almost worth it for that "He's British?!" line.
While I enjoyed this episode more than Carrie, I do agree that it was a bit more "on the nose" than normal. I think they tried to fit in too many storylines and as a result they all felt rushed.
Especially since the next two episodes look to have some big drama going on.
I'm just glad the hash tags now show up at the top of the screen and no longer block ASL captions. That was super annoying!!
