Todd- were you like, you know, special? Just kidding!
Todd- were you like, you know, special? Just kidding!
I wasn't allowed to say "suck" and believe it or not, I'm old enough that I wasn't allowed to say "Sit on It" (from Happy Days) either.
I knew a guy in college that looked and sounded eerily like Harris. One day I lost my key and he offered to help me find it. He actually asked me how many ridges or grooves were on the key.
Scott's embarrassing story corner: My very first real high school party was in 9th grade. It was similar to the show in that it was at my friend's house with no parents (obviously) and lots of older students, and perhaps non-students that I didn't know. Anyway, there were only snacks there when I thought there…
Would marijuana use really be that open and accepted in a place of business such as Sterling Draper? I know it was becoming fairly common in the late '60s, but it is still an illegal drug and much of the "Old Guard" is still around.
So, why did the animals all "evolve" to hunt humans- when there were no humans left on Earth?
I still really enjoy this show, but this season I think the writers went too far in making Frankie unlikeable. She really constantly butts in where she doesn't belong, and while in earlier seasons she was a tired, and sometimes clueless parent she wasn't exactly a bad one. Now- she honestly is a terrible mother (and…
I could see if she was back in her old office manager position- but she's a partner, I can't imagine any of the partners agreeing to the merger without a guarantee on their position.
I'm not sure why Joan couldn't be seen leaving the office in pain? What's with the secrecy?
I can't quite understand what Lip has against going to college (assuming a free ride). In a way, doesn't he owe it to the family as the "genius" to get a degree, get a good job, and help the family out of their mess- starting with helping Fiona, who has sacrificed so much? By squandering his opportunity, it's a real…
How did Governor jump Andrea and then lay on top of her, and then spirit her away in apparent total silence with ZOMBIES walking right near them? Wouldn't they both have been attacked, especially while laying on the ground together? Andrea wouldn't at least have had an opportunity to scream or something to alert…
Oh- I thought the episode with Adam was the season finale. Cool, one more episode then.
"Adam’s ejaculate in the season’s penultimate episode" - I believe that was the LAST episode, wasn't it?
"“I can’t keep having my work take hits because of yours,” spews Claire
as the two try to find a new venue after the union workers at the hotel
hosting the gala refuse to work the fundraiser in solidarity with the
teachers’ unions. It’s an unfortunate line, one that didn’t have to be
uttered in order to convey the…
- Anyone else think that Fiona knowing "cascading failures" was out of character?
That's funny. I did remark to my wife that I thought the writers were really making Claire seem to be a slut in college.
I'm getting tired of Luke's ever expanding field of knowledge. Now he somehow knew the makeup of his grandfather's bowling team- and also knew that there was a ringer in the bunch, the former pro?? This is the same Luke that was so lovably dense all those seasons?
I didn't think Claire was happy with Phil because he could buy her stuff- rather, I thought it was because she saw that they had a stable, happy marriage unlike what was obviously a terrible one between her ex and the boss from Workaholics.
Agreed- she's really not even a journalist. I would think there's more to it than just getting fed information which you then publish without thought or further inquiry.
Sorry- I think the grade was way too high:
