Either that or her child was the product of a post-rock, experimental performance work.  Even odds.  I'm not really sure how Bjorks breed.

Same genre, different show.  The one I was talking about is here.
I'm not an expert by any means, but what I've noticed in Korean dramas is:
1) Different cameras: I really don't know anything about the technical aspects, but as best as I can figure, the film is more glossy less matte. The web isn't giving me any useful

…is much better than a Bachelor's of pent-up-sexual-frustration.

Interesting.  I think of reality tv as more of a way to keep the lights on for a channel (obvious excluding Idol and the other network mega-hits),  I don't think they're making anybody rich.  They get just enough views to make back their cost.  But the cheapness would mean potentially higher budgets for other shows.

V.I.P. or GTFO.

That was the best recurring character in any sketch comedy. Any idea who 'wrote' it?

or Bobcat Goldthwait?

Love the band.  Way too many time signature changes to keep up with.  "Bounce" would probably be a good song to crack one out to though.

No to pretty much all of this.
Kurt Cobain had a great voice but it was the opposite of what's considered 'virtuoso' (warbled a lot, got 'near enough' to notes instead of hitting them and his range was nothing to write home about).  Meanwhile, he's considered one of the best songwriters by many (myself included).

copypasta = basically just a corruption/shortening of 'copy and paste'. Not really a thing.  Has the connotations of being inherently a trollish behavior.

About #2: (insert standard note that genre is an ill-defined term) So, what do you mean grunge? I tend to think of it as 'the Seattle sound' from the early '90s (so Alice in Chains->Pearl Jam/Soundgarden->Live->STP and yes, I know those last two aren't from Seattle, that's not the point).  In which case, Nirvana

Hulu has a whole section of Korean Drama (apparently half of which is historic (the other half is 'girl finds her way in the world' romantic dramadies)).  The production value isn't on par with American tv. But, if you can get past that, Iron Empress is pretty good court intrigue, with lots of war and assassinations.

The Scorpion King wasn't enough for you?

I had that exact train of thought. I actually had to reread the first sentence like three times before I remembered this channel existed.  Then I remember Deadliest Warrior had also existed.  Now I'm sad.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure?

Not sure if Bad Boys 3 existing is better than National Treasure 3.

Though a jukebox musical of Metallica songs might not be terrible.  Well, at least it would be Turn Off the Dark.

@avclub-d1a8bb726018bdcb969deca23ce83e80:disqus Jane's Addiction *is* borderline irrelevant these days.  I can't judge on Joshua Tree because I, personally, think U2 is the worst band ever (though objectively, that's Nickelback). In Utero is one of the best produced albums ever. Fun House is a great album, though

Maybe not for shows, but there's plenty of love for ?uestlove.  And ? and the Mysterians did alright for themselves.  Moral here seems to be 'punctuation is strictly for musicians'.

I've been especially disappointed with how the Snowden story was covered.  Wall-to-wall coverage of him not being on a plane, but next to nothing about the actual leaked material, because the largest domestic spying program on private citizens, not necessarily connected to any crimes is a newsworthy event.
