Her being such a complete non-actress adds some genuine heartbreak to her character. It's like a performance in a Bresson film, only by accident - the transcendental version of "so bad it's good".

Not that bad in the grand scheme of things and with a supporting actress that many people will say ruins it but that will actually be the secret best thing about it?
