If my friend's story about being an extra in the concert scene in "Detroit Rock City" is any indication, Ace was so fucked up and unable to even look like he was playing a guitar (I think at one point he was blowing into it) that it's no surprise he barely made it onto the album.

I can't remember what the situation was when I was in NS a few years ago, but I remember being able to buy a 24 at the grocery store in NB which was pretty damn handy.
