Isn't Whitewater the one with the "Suck my do" song tacked on at the end? Great song up to that point, but yeeesh.

I've been re-reading "Skipped Parts" by Tim Sandlin, which i read when I was around 20 and loved. I'm still finding it pretty funny, but as an adult and a parent it's a little more troubling than I remembered.

I just finished re-reading the Hobbit for the first time in 20 years and loved it all over again – I was really sorry to see it end and was tempted to pick up Fellowship as soon as I finished but I don't think I'm quite ready to dive back into reading the trilogy again.
I only manage about 15 minutes of reading every

I'm a big fan of Dead Meadow, who have a lot of really long-ass songs, but I'll nominate the version of "Sleepy SIlver Door" from "Feathers".
I think it clocks in at around 14 minutes and at about the halfway point the song kind of collapses in on itself then crashes away for a few minutes before slowly building

No, they didn't.

No, they didn't.

The only time I saw them was on the first Warped Tour in '95… at the time they were probably my favourite band and they'd already announced that they were breaking up as soon as the tour was over so it was bittersweet but they rocked my fucking face off (for a half hour long festival set).

I'm with you @avclub-d009e8b6ce98ad61a7b7a69cd1ad10d9:disqus. I considered myself an Adam Sandler fan until I saw The Waterboy (I'll still stand up for Billy Madison and even Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer to some degree) but I found the Waterboy completely unfunny and didn't bother with any of his other movies

Good call on "Real Emotional Trash" (I thought I was the only one who actually liked that album.)
