There's a line in that scene, after Danny turns down the money, where Eric says something like "Really? You were the one that wanted me to call." I took this to mean that Danny arranged the attack but is disinterested in the money because his motivations are purely personal.

I completely agree. I also am just bummed to not see more of him.

I do think it works well for the series. It's just that Shepard and Chandler were what first drew me to the series, so I was really bummed to be given a taste of the former and then had him snatched away. As an actor, he doesn't always gravitate towards terrific writing. I'd love to see him work with this writing team

Any word on whether Sam Shepard asked to leave the show? I was so excited to see that he was in it, and compelling as his death may be, it's hard to believe they'd gotten the most out of the Robert character. There were many characters we never got to truly explore Robert's chemistry with. Anyway, I've watched through

That's a bird? I could never tell.

As I recall, he had a massively embarrassing hissy fit on a stand up comedy album review where he needlessly attempted to eviscerate the comic (Can't remember who it was). It was really A+ textbook trolling, in that every response he gave to criticism (and he posted at least 15 times) read like the evilest devil's

What's the deal with "i" being so much shittier than the single version? I get that it feels rawer, but such a feel-good song sounds better polished, in my opinion. Hard to imagine I could enjoy the album version without thinking of it in terms of the single version.

I agree that, because that scene followed all of the "Duffy's a rat" scenes, it was misleading in a way the writers seemed not to catch.

If there weren't dozens of gripping plotlines this season, we'd all be complaining about how the writers keep balking in terms of the actual robbery. But this season is amazing.

My understanding was that Boyd didn't realize Raylan and Duffy were in cahoots, but he did think Raylan influenced Markham's decision to move his money.

I thought maybe it had something to do with Carl's comment that "The Pig" wasn't one of Boyd's guys. Maybe he was part of the deal with Katherine Hale, and "The Pig" is their word for any outsider they're made to work with.

Thanks!

Can someone explain to me why they kept calling that henchman "The Pig"?

Who knew my issue was Safari and not Disqus. Feels good to be back.

Is this as simple as a hard focus/soft focus issue? When I relax my gaze, I get white/gold. When I focus on one point on the dress, I get black/blue (kinda).

I got to blue and black, but nothing can convince me that the uppermost part isn't gold.

This literally just fixed itself for me. A month later.

I respect your take!

Marie says the DEA told her the cartel was coming. So if Saul called anyone, it was an anonymous tip to the DEA.

…without, you mean?
