Preach. Hate on the scientology weirdness all you want; I can't count the performances of his I love on two hands and he seems like a genuinely super nice guy. Always liked him.
Disagree with you there. All You Need is Kill sounds like a title I would come up with in middle school or someone trying to recall a grammatically correct title with broken english. An actual example of a dumb scifi title I came up with as a child was "Double O Time Travel" about a secret agent who travels through…
I was all about this book in high school. Nothing groundbreaking about it, but a great page turner of a scifi book that has stuck with me for years, and really stands up to repeat readings. Never read the second and third book, though.
So how about that Patricia Arquette?
Eastwood directed American Sniper, not Foxcatcher.
The Iowa Writer's Workshop is a serious magnet for exposure. It's how many people have secured their first wide release book deals.
What part of her memoir "invents rape stories?" There's an anecdote about a teacher making a molest-y comment towards her in grade school, but that's it. So, two questions for you- What part of her writing are you calling "rape stories" and what proof do you or anyone have that she "invents" these stories?
People obsessed with the idea that they are the only real thing in the universe could be a clever ruse meant to invalidate that theory for me and draw me away from the correct assumption that I may be the only real thing in the universe.
Dispatch- The General
Yeah, I viewed the movie assuming Hawke was in the know about everything that was going on, and it really works in that light.
Would you mind explaining the plot hole you're referencing? The amnesia one, I mean. Why doesn't the movie work if Hawke remembers everything that has happened to his younger selves?
How can a person in the US watch this? Google doesn't show any theaters showing it, the movie doesn't appear to have a website, and iTunes said it would be released today (the 9th) but now says it is unavailable in the US iTunes store. Any ideas? Looks pretty cool.
How is the name of the company actually spelled?
Saw the first show on her most recent tour. She is so killer and so comfortable and so amazing.
It's a joke!
Run them jewels faster
That finale didn't feel like an ending so much as a depiction of how people fool themselves or settle, or fail to move on from relationships that were once good. Season 3 starts subverting the S2 finale's happy endings immediately.
It's looking to be a real 2013.
Kids look at each others' genitalia sometimes. It's a curiosity thing. Dunham's memoir, to me, made that episode seem consensual between the sisters and pretty harmless. If I hadn't seen all the anger on the internet before listening to the book, I don't think that anecdote would even have caused me to bat an eye.
