Culloden is still brilliant 50 years on, was watching recently a BBC documentary about the whole Jacobite campaign, with the obligatory reconstructions, it was rubbish, uninformative, clunky in comparison with Culloden (which was produced by the BBC as well). Also don't forget the Czech New Wave, I'm annoyed that I didn't know of its existence until a couple of years ago - of the top of my head films I've seen/meant to see/prominent directors
