I like Red quite a bit.  But I am not sad that I own the Veronique Criterion Blu-ray.  Beautiful.

I used to carry a picture of Vanessa Angel around in my wallet.  I was a big fan of the Weird Science TV show for some reason.  Probably because of Vanessa Angel.  No wait, definitely because of her.

Yes!  Puttanesca is awesome.  The wife and I use Bittman's recipe for that.  Which includes a cup or so of chopped olives (kalamata and maybe something greener for a nice color) and a couple tablespoons of capers added 5 or 6 minutes before you're done (as well as the anchovies right at the start).  Sidenote- makes a

Make it yourself!
I go with a pretty basic recipe I learned watching Lydia Bastianich.  Start a large pot of water to boil. Take one 28oz can whole peeled tomatoes (your choice), smoosh them up in a bowl with your hands.  Mince some garlic- as much as you like - I generally use 3-4 cloves (sometimes more, depending

Avatar was fine in 3D, the only reason I saw it at all really.  But UP, I thought, was great in 3D.  It may have been the first movie I saw like that, but there were some really beautiful images that used 3D wonderfully.  Mainly just the shots of the house-balloon floating through the sky, and some of the action

Dammit!

As someone who saw Contact multiple times in the theater, my younger self agrees.

I'm probably not gonna go there anytime soon, I live in Minneapolis.  There's plenty of bars here I don't want to go to.  I think you're qualification is pointless though, because that's everyone.  It's like prooving you're not a witch by drowning.  Hipsters, if it is still a valid argument, have become generalized

It would be funny when, in the middle of that movie where the Catman does show up, someone from the theater came around and made you buy another ticket.  Porbably holding a print-out of this comment thread as binding evidence.  Careful what you ask for is all I'm saying.
