Tell your uncle I saw Prince at a grocery store in Chanhassen one night about 15 years ago. Shopping in all red silk and red high heel boots with 2 much taller, younger girls. Tell him!

I was at one of those Weezer shows. I hated it. I was near the stage, but way off to the side and being amazed/pissed at the amount of moshing and pushing there was. Plus no Matt Sharp. Mainly, I just didn't want Weezer to be a "rock" band, even though that's what they always wanted to be.

It's possible. I've only seen it the once in the theater. But I do remember thinking it was a ridiculous decision (for a horror movie).
Sidenote- Am I the only person that still likes Days? Seems like people turned on that faster than you can say "crows blood in Brendan Gleeson's eye".

Can someone remind me why 28 Weeks Later is supposed to be good? Isn't the entire plot of the movie derived from the fact that Robert Carlysle just wanted to kiss his zombie wife? And then at some point all the characters decide to walk through a pitch black subway tunnel for no reason? Like, "we could take this…

Interesting. I don't know what "thumbs crossed" means. Possibly my whiskey to dinner ratio is off.

Fine, I'll attempt to see it (thumbs gently crossed for Minneapolis).

I was the opposite. Braid was on constant repeat through the middle years of college, I even went down to see their last show in Urbana way back when (college road trip!), but failed to keep up once Hey Mercedes came around. I think my music tastes were shifting for pop-punk/emo at that point, though. Though I…

Some of us know who these dudes are. Sometimes news is about things I don't know about, too. It doesn't have to be a big deal.

Easily one of my top 5 Newswires. Not sure what the other 4 would be, but there you go. Good job, Mr O'Neal, that is how you write satire.
