Yes, my school also had a laserdisc player. How weird. It was like the school board only gave them money to invest in technology that one year, they all agreed that Laserdisc was the wave of the future and bought one, but only bought 5 of the actual laserdiscs, which I'm sure are still watched.

At least he is consistent in his rationale. That has to count for something.

My husband is overly attached the things. In my family I'm the "sentimental" one. In his family I'm a cold ice bitch with no heart or personal attachment to anything. But my house is uncluttered so I'm happy.

I shop at my local KMart and it is a dump. It is just located very close to my house.

It's an easy mistake to make…wait, no, no it isn't.

It's the modern day version of having your new color TV sit on top of your giant wood surround black and white TV.

You have to get that shit ready before you just stick it in.

My husband has one in our storage room that he refuses to give up because, you know, we might need it to watch a tape of something sometime. Grrr…he has a hard time letting go of anything. He also has shirts from high school that haven't been worn in 15+ years. Time to cut the cord baby.

I think when he was a kid he was actually talented. He just grew up to be a spoiled little starlet, ruined by money and fame too early. And probably horrible parenting.

You actually just made me cringe and gasp out loud at that idea. I still have yuck face.

I don't think it sounded mean in any way. Just honest.

It really made me like him all the more because I couldn't agree more. This is not an attractive look.

It was on netflix a month or so ago. Maybe they took it off.

I have never seen the movie but I worked at a movie theater when it came out so I saw bits and pieces of it and it looked like it was all over the place. The giant mechanical spider and way, way over the top Kenneth Branagh acting. Seeing those small clips was enough that I never felt the need to watch the entire

I don't know that people on the street would have any idea that he was Buffalo Bill unless they were kind of big fans.

I feel the same way. I thought he was great in Monk and didn't realize when I first watched the show that he was also in Silence of the Lambs. I was pretty impressed by how I didn't automatically connect the two.

It's time to get priorities straight.

Steve Holt!

So you mean redone with Keanu and a reanimated Swayze in the vein of Weekend at Bernies?

Mmm…tastes like purple.
