Audio cutouts
I distinctly remember reading/hearing at one point that the audio cutouts are completely manufactured. It makes sense in the context of the movie and Kiarostami's other work. I adore this movie and the rest of Kiarostami's work from this era.

No you'd have to choose to do it in one place or the other. Still it would be nice to have something more than a twitter-ization of the RSS feed. Y'all are smart, I'm sure you'll come up with something awesome.

I'd love to see more stuff like what Tasha has been doing - life around the office kind of stuff. A straight marketing feed of all the new content is pretty uninteresting, I've got the RSS for that. Twitter demands a little more personality.

Alright, its a little stretch.

It really is full circle

Death
This weekend, as I became the last person in the country to see THE DARK KNIGHT, I found myself thinking a lot about Passion, and about the ways in which Whedon and Nolan handled a very similar situation - the unexpected death of a major character in the middle of a story to spawn the actions to come. The big

Yeah, but it was the same band, same lineup and everything as far as I know.

HOLD ME, LOVE ME, STAY WITH ME UNTIL MY DEAAAAATH
As a correction, The Neurotics actually had three full-length LPs (Repurcussions and Is Your Washroom Breeding Bolsheviks being the other two) as well as a live album - Kickstarting A Backfiring Nation.

Thank you for the dayyyyyyyyyyys
Thanks a lot, now I'll be listening to The Kinks for the next two weeks. No really, thanks, its been too long.

Sigur Ros
Could this mean a summer tour? Be still my beating heart.

Heat of the Moment
Oh it was a rush hearing that huge riff first thing in the morning. It is hard for me to get behind them as a band at this point, but boy did I love them in high school. Thanks for that mate.

SAW THIS AT SEATTLE IFF
My two word review:

A Fine Series
I will miss the navel-gazing posts on what it means to be a critic and fan, they have been some of my favorite reading in the past months. Enlightening, thought-provoking, and somewhat sobering for this preiodically over-judgmental music fan.

It's Coming
I had hoped to see Children Of Men and Pan's Labyrinth before voting, and I might still pull that off. I have a backup ballot just in case, but I have to agree with Kent in that it's a little depressing (there's a lot of stuff I missed this year too tho.)
