Bob doesn't even have an e-mail account, actually. I think he stopped using technology invented after like 1980
I'd recommend Lord of the Birdcage as a solid recent solo LP!
Class Clown gets my vote for best, but I haven't listened to Bears as much yet.
Just listen to all of them, really. Spaceships is the best Pollard side project that I'd even rank above a chunk of GBV albums.

I guess all the rumors and stories I've heard have been positive, so YMMV! I'd still want to grab a beer with him and pick his brain.
Well, I'd certainly love to see a OTM with him or Sprout. Pollard seems to have cool stories behind some of his more mysterious lyrics.
I think Pollard ran over his dog, Lobsters.
Tell us how you really feel about Robert Pollard, turtlehead.
Yeah I wasn't blown away, but after a few listens it's got its hooks in me like any other expertly crafted Pollard song.
GBV Inc. I believe
Wait it's on Robert Pollard's official facebook page
i guess it's not officially announced by any media outlets yet, but it's coming don't you worry!
We participate in this shit, yeah that's a hit
Boston Spaceships (until now I guess) have largely been filling the modern day GBV-niche, too. I can't recommend them enough.
The next GBV LP (Class Clown Spots a UFO) is already lined up for May, with a solo album from Pollard inbetween. Good lord the man cranks out music. Cannot wait!
Can't go wrong with Beard or Cubehouse, really. And I wouldn't be surprised to see a new GBV record in the future…
SPOILERS
Yeah, the GBV show I went to was amazing (as far as the show/performances/setlist), but yeah that crowd was horribly annoying and loved moshing to every damn song. Moshing to Awful Bliss is just…wrong.
