Forgot this about "Watchmen" — as I wrote, how the story is told is more important than the story itself. This is why the movie failed and became just another superhero story, with added "fucks" and fucking and violence even more graphic than in the book.

"nuthouses"
I'm surprised he'd use that word, even as loose and sometimes rough as he is elsewhere in the piece. Calling someone "nuts" applies a stigma. Notice that elsewhere he doesn't even use the word "disease," but breaks it down into "dis-ease." It seems at odds with "nuthouse."
