I think he's freelancing for them.

Dear gods, that's real.

I read "Notes from the Underground" earlier this year. Poor Andek. "Inane. Bleached. F*ggot."

Sumer is icumen in. Good night, sir.

That or "Good Morning, Vietnam."

"CED" = analog video discs? If so, wow. I rented one a few times in 1985. It's how I saw "Heaven's Gate." Four sides!

It took my ex years after we met to accept widescreen. She didn't like part of her TV not being used.

I worked for Musicland/Sam Goody for a few years. We wore aprons. They were for holding price guns, sheets of labels with specialty prices, security tags to stick on DVDs when we were unloading them from boxes. We were prepared, dammit!

Mood ring.

I've had places refuse to change the channel and even ask me not to turn down the volume — even if I was the only person in the waiting area/dining area. I see it a lot in motel breakfast rooms, for some reason. That reason may be that Fox "News" pays business owners to keep it running on their premises. I don't think

"Next week, join us for 'Mauled by Bear Bryant.'"

Thanks.

To be period-accurate, shouldn't that be "deaf, dumb and blind"? I know it's insensitive, but I want to maintain an air of historical nonsense.

I always knew the lyrics were bad. I didn't know until recently that Roddenberry wrote the lyrics and copyrighted them so that he'd get a cut of the composer's royalty every time the theme played. He was even a bigger bastard than I'd imagined.

Is that you, ♫ Ge-ree TODD! ♫?

Do you mean the weird, SciFi Channel series or the very short-lived '70s series with McCallum?

"SNL" did "Mauled by Bears" with Joan Face.

Which half?

I kinda liked "Chain Lightning," myself.

Doo doo doo doo doo! <whip cracks="">
