Yeah thanks, to both of you. This sounds maybe up my alley (I like Moorcock and some fantasy like Little, Big, but hate Meiville)

Just watch Croneberg's Crash…way less Selena Gomez, way more abstracted texture.
The description of the final scene reminds me of the fantastic C'était un Rendezvous. Is it anything like that? I would almost watch the whole film just to see something like that in theaters. Almost.
Jesus man, that is an intense reaction. You do realize you are not physically compelled to click on the link right?
Couldn't reply to your relevant comment, but just wanted to leave you a thanks for recommending Famicon Detective Club Part II. I'd never heard of it but your description sounded amazing, so I managed to find a rom and am already 20 minutes in and know I am going to love it. Cheers!
You are the WORST Britta!

Did anyone else notice the Crowley reference at the beginning? Magic Man says "do what thou swill be the whole piece of law" before saying exactly what Finn says to the little people at the end ("I'm not coming back"). Kind of a cool evocation considering the episode seems to be about the magic of combinations and how…

This is why I commented. I'm such an asshole, yours is one I turned off after ten seconds for some ridiculous reason and it's fantastic, and also one of the best looking by far (and without a doubt the best delivery of the mandatory line). I liked Buddy a lot for sets and overall atmosphere a lot as well.

This was indeed odd. That is a true statement about this film. I totally watched all of it though, which puts it in the top 50% of the films so far. Anyone want to weigh in on their favorites? I've got The Ballad of Oscar Homeslice and Snooze as my top two. I liked The Anal Probes better than Looper, but I'm not sure…

What exactly is your point here? This is very ambiguous sarcasm. Are you implying that the list is not deep or insightful because it is depressing, or that it is not sophisticated because it is is depressing, or that it is a shallow attempt to evoke intimations of depth and insight and sophistication through…

Biggest shocks for me were the exclusion of Black One (which I was glad to see you your secondary list, and no Bloody Panda. Pheromone is for sure among my top 5 metal albums of the last decade.
Lovecraft in Brooklyn, you have my favorite name on this site.
Ha, I love how there are two sequential entries saying exactly the same thing, except one of them sarcastic and one totally genuine.
Punk is what?
"It was a clever, aggressively punk concept in theory, but obnoxious in practice."
Bones
I don't think it's a great show or anything, but you have to give Bones credit for at least an attempt at showing "the stains and fluids the dead leave behind". Although their sets and technology are pretty ridiculous, they never shirk on the goo. On a related note I remember some friend of my mother's…
