Hazel is such a horrible character infecting 30 Rock that I forgot how good this show could be without her.

Absolutely true on the Sarah part, but to add to the Amber part, I love the way she completely shuts down her sarcasm and takes Max so seriously. She deals with him so much better than anyone else.

Season 2 defines Dawson's Creek (as second seasons do for so many other shows). It's way too melodramatic, but in the end, not that much actually happens. (Even, as Brandon astutely points out, Abby Morgan's death is mostly irrelevant, hence flashing back to the wedding.) Dawson's Creek is told through Dawson's eyes,

@seluciav Even Gail and Dawson seemed clumsy together. Mitch and Pacey were the only characters Dawson ever seemed natural with.
