That AMAZING Bears game you mean. TWO fourth-quarter comebacks in a row? What is this, an actual football team?

I read an article in the tribune the other day where they said something like "The Willis tower, formerly known as the Sears tower" and I was like "really, tribune? Really?"
I hated that novella your eminence. I suggest you order an intifada against it. Can you do that?
Probably my favorite war movie. So beautifully bleak.
@avclub-4f18f486a356810b3ef8008243bcba7a:disqus If you're talking about the Spy who Came in from the Cold, the title isn't misleading at all. It's just a different take on the phrase "coming in from the cold" Leamas's actions at the end very much embody the transition that coming in from the cold implies.
I like Smiley's People the best of the Karla lot. It's 2nd only to The Spy who came in from the cold in my mind. Both of them are very much about the toll spying takes on the human soul. Really beautiful books.
YEAH! GOOD OLD ILLINOIS ACTUALLY BEAT AN FBS OPPONENT! ROSE BOWL BITCHES. *cue demoralizing loss to Washington*
The thing about Arsenal is they always try to walk it in.
Bozo absolutely was a mainstay in any Chicago kid's life from like the '60s to the 90's. I dreamed of being able to play Bozo buckets the same way my dad did when he was a kid. A bit of generational connection.
Agreed. And really, it's kinda a beautiful speech. Gary may be stuck in perpetual adolescence but he understands why humanity struggles and strives. That's why the World's End's ending resonated with me more than Cabin in the Woods. Both ostensibly destroy civilization, but TWE leaves us with our humanity, TWE is…
I suppose I shouldn't have been. Heavily used worn-out strippers tend to be worn-out everywhere I guess.
Urgh, That's what I was missing? The youthful Feldman picture is more attractive and more likely to let me keep my lunch inside me.
North Carolina is the place to be chaps. (I never thought I'd say that)
WHAT?! What gay man would wrestle while bare chested? What gay man would shoot things, or probe unexplored depths?!
I'm not so sure. How many Americans actually know the story of the 47 ronin, let alone have read/seen/heard any of the adaptations of Chushingura? I'd be willing to bet the numbers are small. I think that title is more playing into the fact that Americans are more likely to find the term "ronin" cool, or evocative of…
I looked at your mom's gay panic last night!
Grand tale of ronin
A white man to save the day
Japan is grateful
I don't REMEMBER evil dragon women in Chushingura. But it's been a while. Maybe it was lost in translation
THEY GOT RESULTS YOU STUPID CHIEF!
I enjoyed how surprised he was when he got stabbed. Like "Oh, shit. So this is what pain is. Nah, I don't like it"
